Dark Moon

As we observe the dark moon esbat this week, it makes me wonder why we so often depict the 3 phases of the moon, and say "the triple goddess". There are 4 phases to the Goddess as well. While her dark phase is just that, dark, we all know and relate to her in this phase. It is a time to remember that as with the fullness of her light, there is the balance of her dark. Thanks for the add. I love your page. My oldest granddaughter is all about the sea and dolphins. She is considering a career in Marine Biology. At 13, she still has time to change her mind many times, but I secretly hope she sticks with this. I tease her that if she does, we could live by the sea together! In the meantime, I enjoy visiting there and living in the mountains. Sharing the beauty of a nearby stream with you. |
